ANTHONY VASQUEZ (”NATE”)
Anthony Vasquez is an actor, props builder and songwriter from Riverbank, CA. His early theatrical performance include Johnny in The Outsiders, the title role in Romeo and Juliet, and Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing. Anthony has been writing and performing his own music since 2003. He served as an intern at CSU Stanislaus where was Master Prop Builder for their summer Shakespeare Festival. He also traveled with the music department’s production of Little Shop of Horrors. He has lead or advised props and costume construction for Rio Arts, as well as working with local student productions. Recently he was featured in a 2008 music video for his former band, The Lab. The Revenant is his first film project.

SYDNEY LAUREL (”KATIE”)
Sydney Laurel is a young actress and musician/songwriter residing in Northern California. Since the age of 15, she has performed in six major Shakespearean roles. Working on Conte's film, The Revenant, was a very cathartic experience for her having faced her sister Jessica's death in 2006. Her original song for the film, "Whisper" was very much about the lingering grief and eventual healing she experienced following this tragic event. Laurel plans on pursuing acting and music and will be entering college in Fall 2009. Having lived in several Western states and in an artistic family, she currently works in the arts as a portrait and commercial photographer in Stanislaus and San Joaquin Counties.
